Position the Wheel Stops according to
standard AS/NZS 2890.1:2004.
[As measured from the front of the car park kerb or wall]
Standard kerb up to 150mm high
- Front In: 620mm
- Rear in: 900mm
High kerb or wall higher than 150mm
- Front In: 820mm
- Rear In: 1100mm
Fixing Wheel Stops to asphalt/bitumen
surfaces over metal base-course
- Position the Wheel Stop according to the setting out standard above.
- Use 300mm x 12mm Asphalt Spike as supplied.
- Use a 10mm masonry drill to drill a hole 220mm deep into the base course.
- Use a club or sledge hammer to drive the 12mm pin through the Wheel Stop into the base-course.
- Take extra care driving the pins into the
recessed hole to prevent overstrike damage to the Wheel Stops.
Fixing Wheel Stops to concrete surfaces
- Position the Wheel Stop according to the setting out standard above
- Use M16 x 135mm DYNABOLT16 or M12 Screw Bolt.
- Use a 16mm or 12mm masonry drill to drill a hole 60mm deep hole into the concrete.
- Blow out the dust with compressed air.
- Tap in the sleeve anchor into the recessed hole and tighten.
Fixing Wheel Stops over pavers
- Use 300mm x 12mm Asphalt Spike as supplied.
- Use a 12mm masonry drill to drill a 12mm hole right through the paver, 220mm deep
- Use a club or sledge hammer to drive the 12mm pin through the paver and into the base-course.
- Take extra care when driving the pins into the recessed hole to prevent overstrike damage to the Wheel Stops.
